Chapter 419: Puppet Kaido
Hovering above Marine Headquarters and shattering Issho's meteorite with his breath was one of the Four Emperors who had been missing for a long time and was said to have died long ago: Kaido!
Kaido's enormous body floated through the sky like a true dragon, breathing clouds and mist, accompanied by lightning, fog, rain, and storms.
Because Dragon had once used lightning to destroy Luffy's execution platform, and because his name was also Dragon, many people had guessed that his power was the Divine Dragon Fruit.
But once Kaido appeared, that speculation was discarded.

For example, Big Mom's Soul-Soul Fruit; Nami's weather bubbles; even Smoker, after studying on Sky Island for a long time and understanding positive and negative ions, could generate electricity through the friction of smoke.
The Mink Tribe could even attack enemies directly with static electricity.
But Kaido was probably not a Divine Dragon Fruit User.
He had appeared for so long, and was even about to fight Luffy in a decisive battle in the manga, yet there had never been even a single official introduction identifying him as a Divine Dragon Fruit User.
Only after Yamato was taken away by the Revolutionary Army did they learn something of Kaido's true background.
Kaido truly was a Mythical Zoan Fruit User, and one of the very strongest ones at that: Mythical Zoan: Oni - Shuten Doji.
That also explained why he had so many horns on his head, and why two backward-growing horns remained even in his human form.
Those were not dragon horns, but oni horns, perfectly echoing the shape of Onigashima and the skull of the dead oni within it.
And Kaido's human form was not his original appearance, but rather the appearance
