General Offensive

June 6th, clear skies, not a cloud in sight.

Spring's dampness had just faded, while summer's heat had yet to arrive.

At the foot of the Red Line, countless Revolutionary Army soldiers moved supplies from the ships onto the hastily constructed docks like worker ants.

Although the Revolutionary Army already held an absolute advantage, when the time came to truly attack the Red Line, they still had to commit every worker and every ounce of strength.

The Revolutionary Army first needed to find a foothold on the steep Red Line that was suitable for construction—finding that foothold alone had taken them an entire year.

The requirements for this foothold were extremely demanding: it had to make opening roads easier during an assault, make defensive counterattacks easier when holding the position, and allow for the convenient construction of ports and platforms at sea to store supplies.

Those requirements were a little too high.

That was why it had taken them a whole year to find this place. Although it was some distance from the holy land of Mary Geoise, where the Celestial Dragons resided, it was easy to defend and hard to attack. The surrounding sea was open and flat, and a reef not far from the Red Line could be turned into a lighthouse or even a gun emplacement. The Revolutionary Army had taken a liking to it at first glance.

Next came the preparations. Since the Revolutionary Army had decided to launch a general offensive, the core fighting force of the entire army had to be summoned back first.

Then there were the Revolutionary Army's three great construction Sky Kings, who were digging tunnels or building sea highways: Moria of the Push-Push Fruit, Marigold of the Stone-Stone Fruit, and Inazuma of the Scissors-Scissors Fruit.
