Ch. 121Eternal King (Alliance Leader: Love a Dream) 1/10
Chapter Summary
Key plot points and events
Ye Chen explores the Rainbow Mist and discovers a mysterious golden ship filled with statues resembling powerful figures from his memories. A damaged mural identifies the ship’s civilization as a forgotten kingdom founded by the “Eternal King,” followed by its second ruler, the benevolent Emperor Xi. Before he can investigate further, the Rainbow Mist begins collapsing, threatening to destroy its distorted space-time. Ye Chen rescues Henzo and several children by knocking them unconscious with Conqueror’s Haki and pulling their boat out of the mist.
Once outside, Ye Chen learns that three days have passed, despite only about an hour seeming to pass within the Rainbow Mist. Realizing that the mist may be a space-time anomaly capable of connecting different worlds, he orders Henzo to research it. Ye Chen kills the local enforcement squad after they challenge him, then summons Marines under Vice Admiral Strawberry to occupy Ruruka Island and support Henzo’s research. He leaves to pursue the Op-Op Fruit in the North Blue.

- Power and authority: Ye Chen imposes order through overwhelming strength, taking control of the island and commanding Marines without concern for local or institutional opposition.
- Hope of returning home: The Rainbow Mist gives Ye Chen renewed hope that he may find a path back to his original world.
Character interactions
