But Whitebeard did not want to drag this out. He raised his naginata again, this time gripping it with both hands and imbuing it with both Armament Haki and the Tremor-Tremor Fruit's power.

The force bearing down on Rogge was too much. This time, he could not hold out. It was just like his battle with Charlotte Linlin in Jade City: he had wounded her with Spatial Separation, but once she flew into a rage, she had beaten him until he spat blood.
