"Abyss"
In the cloud prison beneath the temple, Diumil slowly walked into the darkness, passed through the deep corridor, and arrived where the Red Beard agent was being held.
The Red Beard agent was tied to a cross covered in Iron Cloud nails. Both his feet had been severed. He was covered in blood and grime, blood clotted on his eyelashes, and he could barely open his eyes.
Sensing Diumil's approach, the Red Beard agent tremblingly raised his head.
But because his tongue had been cut out, he could not make any sound. He could only let out muffled, groaning whimpers like a child who had never learned to speak.
Even the dullest person, if placed in this environment, would clearly sense Red Beard's fear.
Over this period of time, Diumil had practically turned torturing him into a form of entertainment.
He even suspected that Diumil did not care whether he could extract information from him at all. All Diumil cared about was finding more ways to torture him and making him endure pain again and again.
Countless times, he had prayed to die under the torture, because under such circumstances, death was instead a release.
Yet every time he neared death, Diumil would use the Resurrection Flame to repair his body, forcing him to experience the agony of torture over and over again.
It was as if Diumil had concentrated all his hatred for the World Government and Cipher Pol onto him.
"You're really lucky—today is actually the day you die."
Just as the terrified Red Beard was considering how to kill himself, Diumil suddenly spoke.
Red Beard was not alarmed; instead, he was delighted.
But what Diumil said next made Red Beard feel as if he had fallen into an icy abyss.
"Fortunately, Lord Annus gave me one
