"Yes. The batch of gold and Teach's blood sample you provided earlier helped me break through a bottleneck that had long stalled my research into Lineage Factors.

"I spent nearly half a year repeatedly running full-sequence analyses and finally found a crucial point.

"The modification a Devil Fruit makes to a human's Lineage Factor is essentially the insertion of an additional encoded sequence into the Lineage Factor chain. You can think of it as adding another page to a book. That page contains no words, but a kind of instruction capable of changing how cells express themselves."

"In theory, aside from Logia Fruits, whose sequence structures are too unstable because they involve physical transformations into elements, Paramecia and Zoan Fruits can both be replicated—or rather, recreated.

"The method is to use an existing Devil Fruit as a template, extract the Lineage Factor sequence within it, then splice it together with a specially processed blank sequence.

"It's like using one key to make another. The structure of the lock is the same, and so are the depths of the grooves. Only the pattern on the key's handle differs slightly."

"Is there a finished product?" Annus no longer cared about any of that.

"Yes. The Azure Dragon Fruit you left here as a backup—I used its Lineage Factor sequence as a template and replicated an identical fruit.
