The Growing Roger Pirates

Wano Country.

Kuri, daimyo's residence.

A lively banquet was underway. The Roger Pirates, Kozuki Oden, and his Nine Red Scabbards ate meat and drank wine, having a grand time.

"Captain Roger, when can we set sail?"

As cups were raised and exchanged, Kozuki Oden looked at Roger with eager anticipation.

Having tried to go to sea dozens of times, only to fail every time, setting sail had become his obsession.

"Oden, my good brother, we can set sail whenever we want."

Roger laughed heartily, grabbed a bottle, and tilted his head back for a long drink.

He leaned against the table, his collar slightly open to reveal his solid chest.

His gaze fell on Kozuki Oden, and a satisfied expression appeared on his face.

Thinking back to more than a year ago, when they had first arrived in Wano Country, they had unexpectedly met Kozuki Oden.

At the time, Kozuki Oden had been leading the Nine Red Scabbards on a patrol of the coastline when they happened upon the Oro Jackson as it came ashore.

After some "friendly" exchanges, the two sides quickly hit it off.

In the end, Roger led the Roger Pirates and used overwhelming strength to subdue Kozuki Oden and his Nine Red Scabbards.

Later, after a brief conversation, Roger and Kozuki Oden had felt like old friends at first sight, regretting only that they had not met sooner.

Especially after learning of Kozuki Oden's experiences and his ability to read Poneglyphs, Roger immediately invited him aboard. The two hit it off and reached an agreement.

Thus, Kozuki Oden had officially joined the Roger Pirates.

Not only was Kozuki Oden bold, easygoing, and immensely strong, but he could also read Poneglyphs. He was simply the ideal crewmate chosen by fate.

Roger was exceedingly pleased with Kozuki Oden.
