"Damn Marines, get the hell out of my way!"
In his Human-Beast Form, Kaido's muscles bulged as he drove Sakazuki against the ice and hammered him with his spiked club.
Magma splashed everywhere!
Armament Haki could counter elemental transformation, but transforming before an attack landed could protect the vital spots.
Injuries were unavoidable, but a few blows would not be enough to put someone out of the fight.
Besides, Sakazuki was no weakling physically. During the Summit War, he had taken one of Whitebeard's punches square in the face. Of the Three Admirals, Sakazuki probably had the toughest body.
Kaido might have been grinding Sakazuki into the ice, but Sakazuki could still fight back. And he had ranged support nearby.
Borsalino was hanging back, of course. He kept his distance and fired lasers to distract Kaido, using seventy percent of his strength at most. He was doing the bare minimum.
He was not the one taking the beating. Sakazuki was tough, and killing him would not be easy, even for Kaido.
If Sakazuki truly could not hold on, Borsalino would step in to help.
So there was nothing to worry about.
"Kaido, you're the one who deserves to die, you damn pirate!"
Sakazuki gritted his teeth, trying to throw Kaido off with his words.
"Once you're dead, I'll wipe out the Beasts Pirates. Every last one of them!"
Kaido's eyes flashed fiercely. "You? You're a World Government lapdog who plays with magma. Frankly, your magma isn't even as hot as my bathwater!"
"Canine Red Lotus!!"
"Thunder Bagua!!"
On the ice.
An irregular cloud of black mist spread across the sky, swallowing Kuzan and the CP0 agents. It blocked their sight and rendered even Observation Haki useless.
Kuzan and the CP0 agents were cut off from one another, unable to regroup.
