After making his decision, Kong immediately began rapidly analyzing the monsters before him, considering which would make the best first target.
First was the five-tailed monster with the strange appearance of a dolphin fused with a horse.
Next was the fusion of an ox and an octopus, its eight tentacles churning through the air. One glance was enough to tell it possessed multiple kinds of powers.
Kong eliminated them almost in the first round. Choosing a monster with such a complex makeup as his first target would not be wise.
Then there was the one with fangs, an ape-like body, and four tails.
Kong guessed this might be some kind of evolved form. Although it did not combine multiple traits like the first two, evolution itself often came with special abilities, making it another difficult target.
Finally, that left the fox with nine tails.
It looked the plainest of the four, its appearance simply that of a giant nine-tailed fox, without any other extra features.
As for its distinguishing features, aside from being a little bigger, it had no other advantages.
Kong felt that, if his guess was right, this fox was the best target.
"Go on arguing. Just keep arguing." Kong softened his footsteps like a hunter approaching his prey.
When he reached what he considered a suitable distance, he suddenly leaped up, Conqueror's Haki coiling around his fist as dark red arcs danced along it.
"My apologies for interrupting you at such an inconvenient time."
By the time he finished speaking, Kong was already very close to the side of Kurama's face.
The distance between his fist and its target shrank rapidly.
Yet, the instant before his fist reached its target, Kurama abruptly turned his head, his mouth already curving into a grin on his enormous fox face.
