The cold touch of the Seastone Handcuffs woke John from unconsciousness.
He struggled, only to find that even lifting his arms took an unusual amount of effort.
The magnetic force that had once obeyed his every command inside his body had fallen completely silent.
"Dammit... this damn..." he cursed, trying to mobilize his Haki and break free, but the Seastone's suppressive force made his head spin.
"Hee hee hee... finally awake? I suggest you save your strength."
A sinister voice came from the shadows in the corner.
Moria's wickedly grinning face emerged from the darkness, looking down at John, who was sprawled in the corner.
"Dammit... you again! What do you want? Let me go!" John was shocked and furious.
"What do I want? Our captain has taken a liking to you and wants you to join the crew."
Moria crouched down, watching John's struggles with interest.
"Though I think turning you into a zombie would be more convenient, the captain seems to think your abilities could still be useful."
"Bullshit! You want me to serve under someone? Dream on!" John spat.
"Do you want to die?"
"Of course I don't want to die. Getting me to join your crew is simple enough."
"Oh?"
"First, give me the captain's position. Second, I get first pick of all the treasure! And you'll have to provide me with ten beauties..."
Moria seemed to have heard something hilarious, and his laughter turned shrill.
"You really... have no idea what kind of situation you're in. Forget it. Talking to you is pointless. Once you see it with your own eyes, you'll behave."
He clapped his hands. Two silent zombies entered, seized John from either side, and hauled away the struggling, cursing man.
