Morley, who had just been punched into the palace ruins by Bullet, suddenly burst out from a mass of rubble.

Rocks rolled away to either side.
Morley's enormous body rose to its feet again, blood already staining the corner of his mouth.
Every breath sent tearing pain through the ribs on his left side.
That punch had broken at least three of his bones.
But Morley merely wiped the blood from his mouth and slammed both palms against the ground.

Huge slabs of rock surged continuously up from underground, as though pushed by an invisible pair of giant hands.

Several massive earthen walls rose from the ground, nearly filling the entire avenue.
These walls did not simply rise; under Morley's control, they kept advancing, like slow but crushing mountain faces pressing directly toward Bullet.
Bullet stood opposite him.
Rather than retreating from the enormous rock walls barreling toward him, he grinned.
"Now that's more like it!"
Behind him.
Lindbergh had already raised his shoulder-mounted cannons again, and the targeting reticles on his lenses swiftly locked onto Bullet.
"Freeze Bullet!"

Several specialized shells flew over Morley's head and exploded around Bullet at once.
A freezing white mist instantly swallowed the area. The stone pavement rapidly iced over, and even a thick layer of frost formed beneath Bullet's feet.
Then, without pausing, Lindbergh continued.
"Electromagnetic Bullet!"
