The calm sea suddenly exploded.
The coated Going Merry burst out of the sea, leaping high into the air before crashing heavily back onto the surface.
Water streamed down the deck and hull in sheets.
The moment he saw sunlight again, Luffy was the first to rush to the bow.
Bracing both hands on the sheep's head, he grinned and shouted at the endless sea before him.
"New World—!"
"Here I come—!!!"
His voice carried far on the sea breeze.
Usopp rushed out of the cabin as well.
"We finally made it!"
Chopper leaned over the side, his eyes sparkling.
"So this is the New World?!"
Sanji leaned against the mast and lit a cigarette.
Zoro rested against the railing with his swords in his arms, looking up at the distant sea.
Of them all, only Nami had not relaxed.
Holding the Log Pose, she checked it several times before looking up at the clouds.
"Let me make this clear first."
"This place isn't like the first half of the Grand Line."
"How is it different?"
"Everything is different!"
Nami pointed at the sea outside.
"The weather, the currents, the islands' magnetic fields— even the routes can change without warning."
"The people at Fish-Man Island warned us too."
"Now that we're here, none of you are allowed to act as recklessly as you used to!"
Zoro smiled instead.
"Good."
Sanji exhaled a puff of smoke.
"We've come this far. We can't exactly turn back now."
Usopp put his hands on his hips, looking perfectly composed.
"Don't worry!"
"I've been prepared for this for ages!"
Chopper glanced down.
"Usopp, your legs are shaking."
Usopp stiffened.
"That's excitement!"
Chopper suddenly understood.
"So excitement makes you shake like that?"
"It does!"
Chopper nodded seriously.
"I learned something."
Nami's eye twitched.
