Rumble—
Deep within Pangaea Castle, rubble was still raining down.
At the center of the enormous crater, Imu knelt on one knee, bracing himself with one hand.
His chest had caved in completely. Galaxy Thunder Burial had torn away most of his right black wing, leaving only a few twisted bones hanging from his back.
Farther away, the Ancient Weapons left by the Nineteen Kings stood crookedly amid the rubble, their orderly formation long since shattered.
Rock hovered above the crater's edge, looking down at him.
The severe injuries were expected, but what really caught his attention was the speed of Imu's recovery.
It had slowed, and by far more than a little compared to the beginning.
The depression in his chest was gradually repairing itself, but at less than half its original speed. His severed black wing showed no sign of regrowing at all.
Rock watched for a few seconds, then suddenly smiled.
"So that's how it is."
Imu slowly raised his head.
Rock pointed down below, his voice laced with mockery.
"It's not that you don't want to recover. Those old bastards down there are still feeding on your power."
Imu's ringed crimson pupils contracted slightly.
The second tier of the battlefield.
Bang—!
Zephyr smashed his fist into Saturn's head in his Gyuki form, driving the enormous skull straight into the ground and sending rubble flying.
Saturn's six spider legs thrashed wildly as he tried to prop himself up, but the bone-deep gash across his shoulder seemed stuck, refusing to heal.
The black Divine Covenant markings flickered, their recovery slowing visibly.
Watching this, Zephyr's lips gradually spread into a grin, exposing stark white teeth.
"Finally, you're not quite so disgusting."
Boom!
His entire right arm suddenly swelled, black scale patterns spreading all the way to his shoulder.
