Experience from Elder Zhan

Rasengan!

Brando thrust the Rasengan in his hand toward the stone wall before him.

The Rasengan rapidly expanded upon striking the wall. Its irregular rotational force swiftly ground away the stone before exploding, blasting out a huge crater over three meters wide, covered in spiderweb-like cracks.

"I finally did it!"

Brando was incomparably thrilled.

After all, this was not power bestowed by the Will of the Overlord. It was power earned through sweat and hard work!

Over the past five days, Brando had not rested even once. When he was hungry, he hunted wild beasts in the mountains and roasted them. When he was thirsty, he drank spring water. He had barely come down the mountain at all.

The villagers also knew that Brando was different now. His mind was broken, but he was strong enough that he would not starve to death, so no one came looking for him.

"Remember, the Rasengan has to hit the head."

"Unfortunately, no one in this world has Chakra Seeds, so the Sharingan's genjutsu can't be used. If I want to attack with genjutsu, I'll probably have to wait until I receive a reward involving illusion-type eye techniques."

In high spirits, Brando used a Great Fireball to ignite some branches, then began roasting meat for today's lunch.

The Sharingan could actually have been even more useful, but because everyone in this world lacked Chakra Seeds, genjutsu could not take effect.

Genjutsu formed illusory scenes to deceive opponents by disrupting the Chakra in their bodies. Without Chakra, that was impossible.

"Is this the place?"

The voices of three children rang out in succession.

Brando, who was roasting a bear paw, heard them clearly. One of the voices was especially familiar. It was obviously Luffy's.

Ace and Sabo cautiously poked their heads out, wanting to assess the situation, but immediately saw countless fallen trees and the remains of many animal corpses.

No matter how they looked at it, this place was extremely dangerous, as if a savage beast lurked here.

But Luffy charged ahead at the front, completely ignoring all of it.

"That idiot!"

Ace panicked.

He knew bringing this guy along would only cause trouble.

He had not even seen the enemy before running out to provoke them. Wasn't that courting death?

Still, he could not just leave him alone. After all, Luffy was his little brother.

He grabbed his pipe and hurried after him. Sabo could only follow as well. He was scared, but loyalty mattered.

A pebble flew out to greet Luffy, striking him squarely on the forehead.

But to Luffy, it did not hurt in the slightest.

"So it was you, Brando!"

Luffy saw Brando roasting the bear paw and spoke excitedly.

Ever since he had been sent to live with the mountain bandit Dadan, he had not returned to the village. Seeing someone he knew again made the little brat Luffy very happy.

Ace and Sabo followed after him and discovered there was no ferocious beast, only one person.

But Ace sensed that this person was dangerous!

There were scraps of animals Brando had eaten all around him. Those massive bones proved how strong this man was.

"Luffy, do you know him?"

Sabo sighed in relief. He had been the one to discover this place, so if something had happened, he would naturally have felt guilty.

"Yeah, he used to be from the village. He's really strong—a ninja!"

Luffy introduced him with a grin.

"Hey, what do you mean, 'used to be from the village'? Are you planning to become a rogue ninja, Luffy?"

Hearing that, Brando could not help but ask.

He had no intention of becoming a rogue ninja.

"Rogue ninja? What's a rogue ninja?"

Luffy asked in confusion.

"Looks like there's nothing worthwhile here. Let's go."

Ace felt that this person was strange and did not want to stay any longer. He wanted to take the other two away.

"It wouldn't be polite to leave like this. You've interrupted my lunch."

"Help me clean this place up, and we'll call it an apology."

Seeing the three of them, Brando's Will of the Overlord immediately rose.

The son of a noble, the grandson of a Marine hero, and the son of the Pirate King.

How could he let such a combination leave so easily?

"But you haven't even started eating yet!"

Sabo said in surprise.

Were adults all this awful?

His food was not even cooked, and he had not started eating, yet he was saying they had interrupted him.

"Yeah, you haven't eaten yet."

Luffy added foolishly.

"He's picking a fight!"

"Run!"

Ace was more experienced. Sabo was from a noble family and was far too trusting of strangers, while Luffy was an idiot. Only Ace had seen the ugliness of human nature.

He felt that the person before him was dangerous. That chilling sensation coming from Brando was just like the pirate Ace had encountered in Gray Terminal.

Brando shoved the stick with the bear paw on it into the ground, then slowly stood up.

"Since you don't agree, I'll do it myself."

"Starting now, it's a battle royale. The last one caught won't have to work."

Brando simply wanted to bully these three children. He had no other ulterior motive.

He wanted to defeat future kings now, then challenge Whitebeard or someone like him in the future, defeating the strongest of the past in the future.

This was the valuable experience he had learned from Elder Zhan!

"A game where Marines catch pirates?"

"Awesome!"

Luffy did not feel any sense of danger at all.

Ace ran off immediately. Since this person had no killing intent, Luffy should be fine, so there was no need to worry about him.

Sabo reacted a little slower, but he quickly turned and ran as well.

Only Luffy was the slowest to react and remained where he was.

"Then you'll be the first."

Brando picked up a vine from the ground, one he had used to tie up wild beasts, and walked toward Luffy.

"Hmph, I won't be the first one caught."

Luffy was still talking big. Only after saying that did he start running.

But the moment he turned around, Brando, who had been behind him, was already standing in front of him. Luffy was bound by Brando without the slightest chance to resist.

Brando felt that this guy was an idiot. Although everyone in the village said Brando's mind was broken, he felt that Luffy's brain had even bigger problems.

Then Brando vanished from Luffy's sight in a body flicker.

"Damn it!"

Luffy could only cry out unwillingly as he wriggled his body like a maggot.

"Damn it, since when did Foosha Village have someone this dangerous?"

Ace kept running.

At that moment, he felt as though a ghost were chasing him from behind. That lingering sensation clung tightly to him without letting go.

Suddenly, Ace came to a sharp stop, his feet carving two trenches into the ground.

"When did he get here?!"

Ace stared at the man who had appeared in front of him, unable to understand when Brando had gotten ahead of him.

"Will you surrender?"

"Or do you want to resist a little?"

Brando walked toward Ace step by step.

Though his body was clearly thin and frail, Ace felt an immense pressure from him.
