In less than half an incense stick's time, Lu Shaolin arrived outside the Holy City's royal palace.
The palace gates were tightly shut. Seeing a strangely dressed man suddenly appear at the entrance, the six Royal Palace Guard knights stationed there drew the cross-blades at their waists.
"Who are you?"
The leading knight shouted at Lu Shaolin.
Lu Shaolin shook his head with a smile. His figure flashed, and he vanished from where he stood.
He had no time to waste here. He would find his daughter inside the palace first.
In the blink of an eye, Lu Shaolin was inside the royal palace. Sweeping out with his Soul Power, he discovered a little girl of six or seven in the palace's rear garden.
The girl looked remarkably like Salina, but her nose strongly resembled his own.
A smile appeared in Lu Shaolin's eyes, and he vanished again.
When he reappeared, he was already behind the girl.
"Who dares trespass into the royal palace!"
Before he could even greet the girl, a furious shout rang out behind him.
The shout was accompanied by the whistle of something tearing through the air!
Lu Shaolin turned his head. A silver spear was thrust straight at his face.
He extended a finger. With a clang, the spearhead struck his fingertip and came to a halt!
"King Lin!"
The silver-armored guard holding the spear immediately withdrew it.
"So it's you."
Lu Shaolin smiled faintly. He recognized this silver-armored guard as one of General Mo's captains.
"This subordinate, Xiao Yi, pays respects to King Lin!"
The silver-armored guard dropped to one knee and cupped his fists in salute.
"No need for formalities!"
With a stir of Soul Power, Lu Shaolin helped him back to his feet.
"Why are you all here?"
Lu Shaolin looked around.
