As he headed toward E San's cave abode, Lu Shaolin turned his head toward the White Turtle. "I'm going to the Transverse Mountains. Are you coming?"
"Yes! Ever since you went into seclusion, I returned to the Li River. I haven't seen Little Nianfu in ages!"
The White Turtle roared.
"Mm."
Lu Shaolin nodded and continued toward E San's cave abode.
When they reached the entrance, earthshaking snores drifted out.
"Uh..."
Lu Shaolin stopped. He had originally planned to bid Uncle E San farewell.
"No need to bother Uncle Three."
The White Turtle lifted its head and said to E Jiang at the entrance, "Little Jiang, Lu Shaolin and I are leaving. Tell Uncle Three when he wakes up."
"Yes!"
E Jiang clasped his fists and acknowledged the order.
Lu Shaolin nodded to E Jiang, then turned and slashed his hand through the air. A spatial rift appeared, revealing the Half-Demon Valley in the Transverse Mountains.

The White Turtle's mung-bean eyes flew wide open.
"Mm. Otherwise, did you think I went into seclusion for nothing?"
Lu Shaolin smiled faintly and stepped into the spatial rift.
In the blink of an eye, the two arrived at Half-Demon Valley, and the spatial rift behind them vanished instantly.

The White Turtle nodded repeatedly.
Their appearance immediately caught the attention of the half-demons in the valley. A patrol squad of male Fox Clan half-demons charged toward them.
When they reached them, the Fox Clan half-demon captain abruptly raised a hand, and the half-demons behind him all stopped.

The half-demon captain asked respectfully.
"It's me!"
Lu Shaolin nodded. This captain looked somewhat familiar; perhaps they had met
