"Sixth Spirit Ability: Thunder Prison."
Centered on his feet, a ring of gold-purple electric arcs burst outward, spreading in all directions like a ripple.
Wherever the ring passed, all the beetles were annihilated the instant they touched the electric arcs, their bodies turning to flying ash without even leaving a residue.
The spread of the Thunder Prison field covered the entire underground hall. Within a twelve-hundred-meter radius, all the Yin Evil Beetles were swept by thunder within the span of a few breaths, turning into ash floating across the sky.
The black tide vanished.
The hall grew quiet once more, leaving only the residual electric arcs within the Thunder Prison field dancing and flickering in the air.
A thick layer of grayish-white powder covered the ground, the only trace left behind after the beetles were annihilated.
What is going on? There are actually no spirit rings?
He did not understand this point.
Huang Yun put away the Thunder Prison and continued forward.
He passed through the hall, arriving beside the central stone pillar, and squatted down to examine the runes at the base of the pillar.
Those runes differed from the ones in the passageway, being far older and more complex. Faint fragments of obscure text could be discerned, but their complete meaning could not be understood.
He stood up, surveyed his surroundings, and found a few scattered items in the corner of the hall.
There were fragments of damaged Soul Tools, a few pieces of ore of unknown material, and a broken short sword.
He casually stowed those items into his Storage Ring and continued toward the passageway on the other side of the hall.
After walking a few steps, his pace suddenly paused.
His Kunpeng Eye captured an extremely violent energy fluctuation emanating from deep within a passageway
