Thoughts on Going Premium

When I received the notification that the story was going premium, I was honestly pretty excited. This was my first time doing so.

I had written some original works before and wanted to make a name for myself on Qidian, but I'd never managed to get a contract. As a result, I didn't dare start another book for quite a long time.

Later, after listening to some advice, I decided to begin by writing fanfiction and wait until I had built up some popularity before publishing original works again.

So I created an alt account—this account I'm using now—to write fanfiction.

As for fanfiction, I'd already been writing it back in high school. Most of it was written in notebooks during class, and I never moved it online after the college entrance exams. Those manuscripts were eventually lost.

I didn't know whether going premium with less than a hundred thousand words was early or late. More importantly, this was my first time signing a contract on China Literature's platform, and my first time writing a story all the way to going premium.

So when I received the notification, my excitement was simply beyond words.
