Bang! Bang! Bang!
Three 5.56mm rounds struck the killer's reinforced body armor. The M4A1's muzzle velocity and kinetic energy failed to penetrate the armor. After hitting the same spot, two bullets ricocheted away while one embedded itself in it.
Bang! Bang!
Another two rounds hit the same area, this time the arm. The armor there was relatively thinner. Clearly, body armor was designed to prioritize protecting internal organs over limbs.
It was understandable. Considering factors such as mobility, bulky armor was unsuitable for special tactical teams carrying out missions.
"Don't be afraid. One last spot. Once the testing is over, I'll let you go."
Seeing that the killer was on the verge of a mental breakdown, Russell hurriedly tried to comfort him.
It was not very effective. Seeing the lowered muzzle aimed between his legs, the killer gave a self-destructive roar, rose to his feet, and ran for the hotel entrance.
Whoosh!
A tactical knife came from behind, piercing the killer's bulletproof helmet through the back of his head. It carried his corpse forward, smashing through the revolving door's glass and tumbling onto the steps outside.
Outside, the two doormen both shuddered. They stepped forward together to drag away the body, then used dust mops to clean the steps.
Before the cleaning was even finished, the killers lurking nearby swarmed inside.
They had waited a long time and had continually been denied entry. Now that the troublemakers were all dead, no one could stop them from earning 300 million dollars.
One after another, around forty people entered the New York Continental Hotel within three minutes.
Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang—
After fifteen seconds of gunfire, the two doormen looked toward the pitch-black hotel lobby, swallowed, and hurriedly looked away.
Clatter!
One doorman tossed the pistol at his waist into a storm
