In his view, the five rare-beast-level monsters were difficult to describe. By the classifications Russell knew, there were two Flying types, one Dragon type, one Ground type, and one Water type.
Of the two Flying types, one was an Azure Scaled Giant Python with four wings on its back. It was over twenty meters long, its eyes crimson like blood-red lanterns, and its gaping maw was filled with hooked fangs.
The other was a Great Eagle with a wingspan of roughly ten meters. Probably an eagle, anyway. Its feathers gleamed with a metallic hardness, and it had nine heads.
The Dragon type was a Flood Dragon that was neither quite dragon nor snake. It had no horns on its forehead, only a pair of foreclaws.
The Ground type had an impressive appearance: a snow-white elk with four antlers branching from its head like tree limbs, giving off an ethereal, immortal air.
The Water type...
Water types that just grew however they pleased had never made any sense, and the monster before Russell was no exception. Its torso was that of a fish, covered in palm-sized scales. Its four limbs were webbed eagle talons, its tail was serpentine, its head tiger-like, and its neck was ringed with a lion's furious mane.
