Blue-white Electric Arcs spilled from the corners of Russell's mouth. He wrapped an arm around Hecate's slender waist, leaving behind a Z-shaped flash as he leaped out of the encirclement formed by the three great demons: Golden Crow, Di Jiang, and Yu Jia.
He was so fast that their attempts to stop him were utterly futile. Whether in speed or reaction time, they lagged behind by more than a beat.

When he reappeared, Russell was already standing atop Xing Tian's head. The latter frolicked to show affection as several tentacles coiled around Russell's ankles.
Probably trying to act cute!
Hecate beside him was not spared either. She carried Russell's scent.
Crackle!
Electric Arcs snapped the tentacles apart. Russell raised his head and looked toward the three powerful enemies in the distance. The world's expansion had not only strengthened him; the three demons had been enhanced as well.
"Hecate, Xing Tian is yours. Go easy on it—don't break it."
"Don't worry. Leave it to me."
Hecate licked her lips. This was why she liked Russell: he never stopped her from fighting.
On the contrary, before every battle, he would hand her all kinds of powerful weapons and let her fight to her heart's content.
The more she looked at him, the more delighted she became!
Suddenly, as if remembering something, she frowned. "Should I stay and deal with these three monsters, or should we take them down together before heading to the underworld?"
"You go ahead first. I'll catch up once I've dealt with them."
