As soon as the Character Card took effect, Russell's body stiffened slightly. Unlike before, when it would more or less grant him some boost in power, none of his attributes changed. He was exactly the same as before.
Yet that extraordinary sensation left Russell... unsure how to describe it.
He raised a fingertip and tapped Hecate on the forehead...

That wondrous power seemed to have another way of being used.
Following his instincts, Russell reached behind himself and pulled out a pencil and a sheet of A4 paper.
Do not ask where they came from. He was not quite sure either. In any case, he had looked back and felt like he could pull them out, and then he really had.
The pencil scratched across the white paper, producing two lifelike potion bottles, each labeled with a simple, brutal name.
Red! Blue!
With a reach of his hand, he took the two bottles out of the paper and glugged their contents down Hecate's throat.
She was instantly revived at full health!
Hecate stared at Russell with wide, confused eyes, having no idea what had happened.
Russell did not explain. He went back to work on the blank A4 paper, drawing a spatial vortex that leaped from the page along with a white lump of flesh.
Russell frowned. An Electric Arc flashed across his forehead, and the lump rapidly melted into black sludge before evaporating without a trace.
The gods trapped within the lump revealed themselves, all of them still shaken from their narrow escape.
They had come only a little short of being digested!
Russell was helpless about it. When he was not human, his thoughts were in a state of absolute chaos and disorder, and he could not control the White Monster's actions.
