Russell vs. the Suicide Squad

The Suicide Squad members silently cursed their luck. They did not want trouble, but trouble had come knocking on their door.

They had witnessed Russell crush the two gangs and decided he relied on high-tech equipment and armor. They did not think it was anything remarkable.

They were not bragging. With so few people, any one of them could have done the same.

Because of their individual styles, they might not have been as swift and decisive as Russell, but there was no chance they would fail.

What truly shocked them was seeing a dead man who had been shot in the head come back to life, then get controlled by Russell like a puppet.

People felt curiosity toward unknown things, but they also feared them. The Suicide Squad had a mission that concerned their lives. They wanted nothing to do with someone as mysterious as Russell, someone who looked like the source of every possible problem.

"Quick! George and I will hold him off. Get into the sewers now!"

Deadshot met Russell's faintly blue eyes beneath his mask. Without another word, he took out his sniper rifle and pulled the trigger repeatedly.

Captain Boomerang George did not waste any words either. He threw four bomb-tied boomerangs, sending them around through blind spots from all four directions to attack Russell.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Three bullets left one hole in Russell's faceplate. They had not missed; Deadshot's marksmanship was simply terrifying, and all three bullets had struck the exact same spot.

In the blink of an eye, the four boomerangs traced strange arcs through the air, returning from four directions at once to seal off Russell's escape routes before striking him simultaneously.

Boom!!!

Flames shot into the sky. The expanding fireball unleashed a shockwave, bathing the entire street in red light.
