Back on Earth, far from the Dark Dimension, Steve was once again blocked at his door by Nick Fury and Tony. Half a year had passed since the Avengers had quietly been established. During that time, the two had asked several times about the enemy's identity, only for Steve to brush them off each time.
Today, Tony and Nick Fury finally could not hold back any longer. The Avengers' overall framework had already been put together, yet Steve, their captain and spiritual leader, had not shown his face even once. He did not seem invested in it at all.
