Thor and Loki had a friendly match. The process was dull, without the slightest hint of blood-pumping excitement, but Thor was delighted. He had enjoyed the thrill of battle.
In the Dark Dimension arena, Russell had sealed him, making it incredibly difficult for him to sense the power of Thor within his body. Even he had not expected to succeed.
Yet he had succeeded anyway!

Every day, the Valkyries had beaten him senseless with Mjolnir, steadily increasing his lightning resistance. He could not achieve complete immunity, but ordinary lightning attacks were no problem for his pectorals.
Just like that, after being shocked day after day, he somehow connected with the power of Thor inside him again, even while sealed.
Skipping over the universally beloved training process, the result was good.
It also proved that Russell had not deceived Thor back then. Becoming Thor was the same as fighting: the reason Thor had always been such a hammer and could not become the true Thor was simply because he had not taken enough brutal beatings.
He needed more electricity!
After leaving the Dark Dimension, the seal within him was lifted. A dragon that had been trapped for a day had finally soared into the heavens. The old Thor would have already burst into wild laughter.

Finally, the family banquet ended. He spotted a lone Loki with no one around, quietly moved closer, and proposed a sparring match.
