Russell tucked the hammer behind his back, and the crowd of onlookers immediately turned to stare.
Unfortunately, no matter how hard they strained their eyes, they could not see where the hammer had gone.
"Alright, the third ship is done. Time waits for no one. Get the crew aboard, and let's move!" Russell dusted off his hands, took the towel handed over from the side, and wiped his completely grease-free fingers.
Upgrading all three ships had taken less than twenty minutes in total. Russell declared his warm-up over and said he could keep going, but Zion had too few hovercraft, so he had no choice but to stop.
Of the three ships, one remained behind as a defensive force, while the other two set off on their mission.
The original plan had been to upgrade Zion's military strength first and build a secure rear base, then carry out a decapitation strike against Machine City once there was nothing to worry about behind them.
Russell remembered very clearly that the Mechanical Squids had swarmed into Zion after Neo became the Savior. He could not remember the exact time, but it had been at least half a year later.
With half a year, he could easily hammer out two production lines. As long as materials were available, Iron Armor could be produced continuously, and Zion's rear defenses would no longer be a problem. At the very least, they would have a sure victory against a squid invasion.
