Inside the fleeing police car, John knelt on the back seat and nervously watched through the rear window. Suddenly, he voiced something that scared even him a little. "Why are we running? That officer seemed like a good person. He would help us."

"Don't be stupid. New York doesn't have cops who can fight robots barehanded and throw them more than ten meters."

Still shaken, Sarah Connor glanced at the T-800 driving one-handed. One of its arms had been bent out of shape—something no human could possibly do.

John understood that too, but he still said weakly, "But he mentioned Skynet. Maybe..."
