How powerful was a Soul Douluo burning everything he had at any cost? It was a terrifying force capable of effortlessly destroying an entire hill.
Sharp dragon claws danced rapidly, leaving waves of sonic booms in the air as the chains binding the three Soul Saints and two High-Level Soul Emperors were easily torn apart.
Clearly, these Evil Soul Masters were not wealthy enough to provide the Soul Saints and Soul Emperors with the same sealing Soul Tools used for Soul Douluos.
Judging by the materials, they were probably only as strong as Sixth-Level Soul Tools. Before a Soul Douluo erupting with full power, those chains were no different from paper.
Old Wolf strode into Uncle Yu's cell. With Zhang Lexuan and Lin En standing beside him, his seven-meter-tall body was overwhelmingly imposing.
The only being Lin En had ever seen who was taller than Old Wolf was probably Odin, who had stabbed him to death in his previous world. Based on Little Sage's replay, that fellow had seemed like a moving mountain range.
A dignified Dragon King, yet he had no sense of martial honor—sneaking up on him and deceiving him, an amnesiac Next-Generation Species. He was not even as principled as a certain strongest Next-Generation Species.
Old Wolf rubbed Lin En and Zhang Lexuan's heads and said with a smile,
"At last, I can touch you two. Stand a little farther back. We'll kill our way out of here soon."
Lin En and Zhang Lexuan obediently ran outside. Without hesitation, Old Wolf immediately swung his black dragon claws.
Clang!
The dragon claws struck the chains, producing a crisp metallic clang. The restraints binding Yu Mu'en were a Top-Tier Eighth-Level Soul Tool, their core materials seemingly containing a Ten Thousand Year Soul Bone.
"Tsk!"
Old Wolf clicked his tongue. The sixth Soul Ring circling his body lit up, and a vicious giant axe formed from gathered black shadows appeared in his hand.
The axe blade was taller than two Lin Ens stacked together. He swung it with all his strength, tearing apart the air and sending violent currents sweeping through the entire cell.
Large sections of wall collapsed before the shockwave. The black axe blade struck the chains, forcibly carving a gap into the Eighth-Level Soul Tool.
Feeling the seal suddenly weaken, Yu Mu'en immediately joined Old Wolf in attacking the chains.
The ringing clamor of metalwork echoed through the room when a voice suddenly sounded beside Lin En's ear.
"Heh, a reminder—they've already gone."
"Kid, follow this route. It's a passage left behind by a Golden-toothed Mole. You can control your skeletal structure, so you can escape by shrinking your bones."
"You don't have much time."
It was that old bastard's voice. Little Sage immediately issued a warning. "Master, external spiritual power intrusion detected. It has been blocked. A map remains within the intercepted information. Keep it?"
Lin En frowned. "Open it."
The map transmitted by the white-robed elder unfolded in the Sea of Spirit. A route marked in red led directly to the Bright Continent he had long dreamed of reaching.
The other party had even thoughtfully included a three-dimensional structural diagram, apparently afraid Lin En would get lost. From the look of it, this route had likely been secretly prepared by that old bastard a long time ago.
The passage was extremely narrow. Only Lin En could pass through it.
"Hey, is there another route? We've got quite a few people here!"
Lin En took one look and decisively abandoned the route. Everyone was fighting with all they had. If he ran off alone, today's events would probably become his inner demon in the future.
"Hehehe, how greedy."
"Regrettably, there is only one ticket to the light. They already belong to the grave."
"Since you have given up, all I can do is mourn for you."
The elder's voice vanished. In the distant dungeon, a shriek like a vengeful ghost rang out. A figure too fast to see pierced through layers of space, reached out, crushed the heads of two High-Level Soul Emperors, and charged straight toward Lin En and the others.
Behind that figure came numerous powerful experts and a large number of Holy Servants. The glow of Soul Rings instantly illuminated the damp, dark dungeon as brightly as day.
The remaining three Soul Saints did not hesitate in the slightest. They had already intended to fight fiercely. Dying in battle was far more satisfying than rotting away in darkness.
Three Martial Soul Avatars blocked every route through which the Evil Soul Masters could attack.
"Seeking death."
The leading Evil Soul Master let out a shrill growl and charged at the three like Gui Mei. The elder had once introduced this man to Lin En.
He was the Great Holy Spirit of this base, holding a position similar to a steward. His strength was at Rank 83, and his Martial Soul was Gui Mei. Aside from the two elders, he was the strongest person in the entire Holy Altar!
Against an enraged Evil Soul Master Soul Douluo, the three Soul Saints fell into a disadvantage the moment the battle began. Their opponent had not even unleashed his Martial Soul Avatar, yet his Soul Power and Martial Soul alone left the three struggling to breathe.
Among Soul Masters, Soul Saint was a watershed realm. From this level onward, fighting above one's rank was practically as difficult as ascending to heaven for ordinary Soul Masters.
This was because above Soul Saint, aside from those pointy-headed Soul Engineers of the Sun Moon Empire who used the Power of the Nine Dragons, Soul Masters in the Three Douluo Kingdoms focused on understanding their Martial Souls and their own paths.
At this level, the gap between geniuses and mediocrities widened enormously, and Evil Soul Masters happened to be among the strongest Soul Masters of the same rank.
For three Soul Saints to join forces and hold him back was already no easy feat.
Old Wolf realized the urgency of the situation and swung his axe with even greater force.
Some Holy Servants who slipped through the Martial Soul Avatars' blockade rushed over, light flashing within their bodies. Sensing it, Old Wolf cursed furiously.
"Damn Evil Soul Masters! They really don't treat people as people!"
"They're going to self-destruct!"
These Holy Servants were too weak. If Soul Elders and Soul Ancestors wanted to affect a Soul Douluo's movements, self-destruction was their only remotely possible option.
The chain reaction caused by dozens of Evil Soul Masters self-destructing was enough to rival a barrage from fixed-installation Soul Tool artillery shells of the same level.
The three Soul Saints were currently tied down and could not return to defend in time. Three Soul Rings appeared around Zhang Lexuan. When she had first arrived, she had only been in her twenties, but she was now Rank 40. She simply had yet to acquire her fourth Soul Ring.
Unlike Lin En, her Soul Rings were found and hunted by designated people, but she herself had no right to choose the Soul Beasts.
A blood moon rose. After three years of contamination and the corrosion of her third Soul Ring, her Moon Martial Soul had become a Blood Moon. However, the color was still pale enough that there was room to turn back; it had not completely become an Evil Martial Soul.
Countless rays of light shone from the Blood Moon, piercing the Holy Servants' calves like sharp swords. Once struck by the light, their flesh dissolved like spring snow until they became puddles of blood.
"Where did this Middle Eastern kid come from?"
Lin En spat. Two Soul Rings circled his body as blue dragon scales covered his arms.
Every muscle in his body was mobilized. The Immune System Martial Soul and Nervous System Martial Soul jointly activated adrenaline and norepinephrine, pumping large amounts of oxygen-rich blood to every organ while his energy cells frantically supplied power throughout his body.
He threw a punch. Carrying the immense strength of the Devouring Dragon, it smashed an Evil Soul Master kid into a pulp. The pulp did not go to waste either, as Lin En directly devoured it.
"Little Sage, let me dance."
Lin En gave Little Sage the order, and she immediately activated bodily assistance. Her crisp female voice echoed in his mind.
"Yes."
"Dragon Combat Arts, Tai Chi, judo, karate, Bajiquan, gun kata, swordsmanship... loaded."
All the books he had found from that old bastard over the past three years, along with the combat knowledge within the Dragon Clan Memory Bank, flooded into his mind. The Nervous System Martial Soul imprinted that knowledge into his muscles until it nearly became instinct.
Molten gold light flashed in Lin En's eyes. An aura like that of a primordial beast swept through the battlefield as blue dragon scales spread upward and golden claws extended from his fingertips.
Vicious arm blades extended from his elbows. They came from the White-Armored Earth Dragon, and their hardness and sharpness were more than sufficient.
