His Divine Soul sat cross-legged upon the cracked earth of his Consciousness Sea. The black demonic aura wrapped around it seemed unable to withstand the scorching force either and had dispersed considerably.
The Divine Soul's face was revealed, but it too wore a bleak appearance covered in cracks.
In a daze, Shen Luo recalled a line from the general principles of the Huangting Scripture: "When yin and yang clash, the Great Dao is blocked; when yin and yang aid each other, all methods merge."
These words served as an introduction to the Seventy-Two Transformations, explaining that the foundation of transformation arts lay in yin and yang connecting and shifting without end.
Although Yin-Yang Qi coexisted beneath him at this moment, the two remained locked in opposition. They could not shift freely, much less aid one another.
