Shen Luo had, in fact, already seen through the fox-fur-clad man's origins. He was not of the Human Race, but belonged to the Demon Fox Clan.
Because of his ties with the Jade Fox Clan of Accumulated Thunder Mountain, Shen Luo had a favorable impression of the Fox Clan. Seeing that the man had never revealed any demonic aura, nor used any bewitching tricks or even pressured the girl into selling him wine, he could not help thinking more highly of him.
Now, seeing how fond the man was of wine, Shen Luo felt a touch of sympathy and asked the girl to fill a flask for him from Lu Huaming's jar of fruit wine.
The fox-fur-clad man could scarcely believe it. Then delight spread across his face, and he bowed deeply to Shen Luo, bending all the way down.
"There's no need for that, no need," Shen Luo said, hastily helping him up.
"Haha, what should I call you, fellow Daoist? I owe you a flask of wine this time. Next year, I'll repay you with a whole jar." The fox-fur-clad man rubbed his hands together and laughed.
"My name is Shen Luo. I really am buying this wine for a friend. I'm not much of a drinker myself," Shen Luo said with a smile.
"So you're Fellow Daoist Shen. I'm Hu Bugui. Brother Shen, you can probably tell that I'm from the Fox Clan-the Qingqiu Lineage," the man who called himself Hu Bugui said with a smile.
While the two chatted and laughed, the girl finished pouring the wine and handed them the flask and jars respectively.
Taking the flask, Hu Bugui immediately raised it and took a small sip. His brows and eyes first creased, then relaxed in contentment, and he could not resist smacking his lips.
