A round, bright-red mark immediately appeared on the dark-red rock. The black mist around it began to spread, transforming into a circular arched gateway standing before them.

Shen Luo peered through the archway, but all he saw was utter darkness, no different from the night sky.

Hu Yong called to the group. He was the first to cup his hands toward Zhong Kui, then stepped inside.

The instant he entered the archway, ripples like those on water spread across the dense black curtain, which then swallowed his figure and made him vanish.
