Origins and Aftermath

"Who dares interfere? Too late!" the middle-aged scholar's voice rang out from the black mist, followed by a cold snort.

A thunderous boom erupted from the river. The Golden Light Sword Formation shattered, and a mass of black mist shot out of it, carrying the dragon's head.

The dragon's head circled in midair, then plunged into the black mist.

"Hahaha... hahaha!"

The scholar's wild laughter rang out from the mist. Every wisp of it swept back toward him like water into a breaching whale's mouth. Soon it had vanished, revealing his figure.

But the middle-aged scholar's appearance had changed completely. He had become a monster with a human body, a dragon's head, and golden armor.

An immense aura radiated from the dragon-headed monster, far surpassing everyone present.

Moisture in the surrounding air rushed toward him. A fierce wind sprang up, and black clouds appeared overhead, covering the entire sky in the blink of an eye. Thick bolts of lightning raced through them.

In an instant, the heavens above all of Chang'an City changed. A storm was about to break.

Shock spread across Shen Luo's face. This power seemed even more terrifying than that of a True Immortal.
