People's vision was hampered by the violent wind, torrential rain, and murky light. Other than things at close range, they could not make out anything in the distance at all.

Even the naval sailors, whose combat experience could not compare to that of the pirates, had cast aside all notions of life and death. Waving their weapons, they either fought the pirates who had boarded their warships or swarmed onto pirate vessels to slaughter the pirates aboard.
Though rain soaked their clothes and violent winds scattered their hair, the people aboard the warships still swung their weapons, each fighting—some for honor and prospects, others for life and a future.
The Kingdom Navy had originally drawn up a meticulous battle plan, but once the storm suddenly descended, everyone helplessly discovered that continuing to execute the original plan in such weather was nothing more than a fool's dream.
