Background

Romon carries the memories of Qian Pinji, a man from Earth whose environmental work with the Green Alliance shaped his reverence for nature. Those memories merge with Romon’s own life and become the emotional foundation of his Druid awakening. 2

As a child, Romon was abandoned and raised at the Motte Inn in Rika Town. Even after gaining power, he remains grateful to Motte and his wife, continuing to help at the inn rather than severing his ties to the people who sheltered him. 2

While injured in Thorn Forest, Romon awakens the Shennong Horn Space and becomes its First Authority Master. Nature responds to his thoughts, restoring sensation to his body and forming the Heart of Nature within him. 2

Appearance

Romon is a refined-looking young man whose appearance often causes others to underestimate him. After becoming a Baron and sixth-level Druid, he is described as having broad shoulders, a narrow waist, fair skin, lively eyes, slightly long hair, and notably elegant features. 290

  • Often wears Druid robes, practical adventurer clothing, or formal noble attire depending on his circumstances. 290 513
  • Can appear delicate or frail beneath aristocratic clothing, an impression that has led enemies to mistake him for an easy target. 641
  • His repeated victories, political authority, and command experience give him a composed and intimidating bearing that merchants and nobles recognize immediately. 352 657

Personality

Romon is pragmatic, observant, and intensely protective of his independence. He avoids reckless close combat when superior positioning, magic, or aerial mobility can secure victory with less risk. 437 517

He is compassionate toward civilians, refugees, and subordinates, repeatedly accepting poorly paid escort work or intervening against demons to protect strangers. He also treats followers as people worth training, equipping, and rewarding rather than expendable tools. 542 543 563

Although he can be ruthless against demons, bandits, and political enemies, Romon is not needlessly cruel. During exile, he refuses to mistreat enslaved shipmaids despite his grief and anger. 513

His former-world knowledge makes him unusually analytical about politics, warfare, ecology, and religion. He recognizes the Ironblood Youth Society’s centralized military ambitions as a threat to the feudal autonomy of landed nobles. 572

Abilities & Skills

Druidic Magic

Romon’s Druid power originates from the Heart of Nature and his unusually strong connection to natural forces. 2

  • Nature Sense I — Establishes a stable connection to nature. 2
  • Wild Empathy I — Lets him perceive the vague emotions of animals and plants. 2
  • Healing magic — Uses Cure Minor Wounds and related spells to heal injuries, disinfect wounds, and regenerate damaged skin. 28 34
  • Plant magic — Employs Entanglement, Thorn Spells, Plant Growth, and mutated thorn magic for restraint, battlefield control, and cultivation. 185 391 543
  • Nature Summoning — Can summon powerful creatures, including Dire Bears and massive Earthwalker Dragons. 333 553
  • Spell limitations — Romon conserves spell slots carefully and avoids wasting magic when his long-range advantages are reduced. 517 553

Spiritual Perception

Romon possesses permanently fixed spiritual senses that improve alongside his advancement.

  • Detect Spiritual Radiance / Detect Aura — Allows him to see the radiance of plants and perceive supernatural auras. 2 38
  • Nature Harmony — Protects him from hostile natural effects by keeping him in resonance with the current plane’s nature. 325
  • Spirit Eye / Divine Eye — Lets him detect concealed enemies, life energy, supernatural radiance, and possible divinity. 438 614
  • His spiritual sight can be overwhelmed by intense sources of light; looking directly at the sun caused immediate pain and tears. 2

Shennong Horn Space

The Shennong Horn is Romon’s most important secret: a growing pocket world governed by his authority.

  • Stores supplies, weapons, crops, animals, demon corpses, and other resources beyond normal carrying capacity. 38 514
  • Converts demon corpses into fertilizer, accelerating the Space’s growth and Romon’s own advancement. 514 517
  • Supports agriculture, medicinal-herb cultivation, forests, rivers, livestock, and increasingly complex ecosystems. 242 600
  • Expands from farmland into a self-sustaining world with elemental circulation, seasons, lakes, tributaries, and the World Tree. 600 620 720
  • Must be concealed; Romon fears that powerful artifacts or suspicious environmental changes could expose or destroy it. 242 260

Domains and Divine Authority

Romon’s path evolves from Agricultural Druid into a Nature Element Druid and eventually a Divine Being.

  • Develops Fire, Earth, Water, and Wind Domains through successive Space upgrades. 503 600 620
  • Chooses the Wind Domain after obtaining the God Statue, completing the elemental cycle of wind, fire, earth, and water. 620
  • Gains the Punishment Domain and the title Lord of Nature’s Judgment. 620
  • Possesses Nature and Retribution authority as a Divine Being. 993 1084
  • Can wield a Divine Artifact holy sword safely because of his Divinity. 986

Martial Skills and Combat

Romon supplements his magic with disciplined martial training and thief-derived combat techniques.

  • Learns Basic Footwork and Basic Swordsmanship under Richard, emphasizing awareness, range control, footwork, and fundamentals. 10
  • Develops assassin-style knife fighting, evasion, surprise attacks, escapes, and bare-handed subduing techniques to compensate for limited physical strength. 28
  • Reaches fourth-level footwork and swordsmanship through sustained combat during the Demon Calamity. 222 235
  • Uses speed, evasive movement, joint-targeting, and unconventional swordsmanship to defeat Golems even when magic is suppressed. 620
  • Favors guerrilla warfare, aerial bombardment, traps, and coordinated cavalry assaults over direct duels. 437 438 547

Spell Research and Innovation

Romon studies mage theory and divine-spell structures to create practical Nature Divine Arts. 720

  • Mud-to-Shell — A first-level spell that forms a waterproof, ceramic-like coating over soil; intended for uses such as sealing biogas pits. 720
  • Catalyzed Fermentation — A zero-level spell that accelerates the decomposition of organic waste by energizing decay bacteria. 720
  • Nature recognizes both inventions as legitimate divine spells that other Druids may eventually learn through meditation. 720

Equipment / Weapons / Items

  • Shennong Horn — Secret spatial artifact and evolving demiplane under Romon’s authority. 2 620
  • House Fasni short sword — Acquired after killing goblins and retained with Captain Koirilo’s permission after the family crest is removed. 7

Story Role / Major Arcs

Awakening in Thorn Forest

Romon awakens as a first-level Druid inside Thorn Forest after his former-world memories and the Shennong Horn respond to his reverence for nature. He returns to Rika Town, reconnects with the Motte Inn, and begins investigating the unusual influx of adventurers into the region. 2

Rise in Rika Town

Romon gains a reputation by killing goblins, hunting, healing adventurers, and building ties with guards, mercenaries, temple figures, and merchants. He trains under Richard, develops his potion business, and begins using the Shennong Horn’s crops to establish financial independence. 7 10 28 36

Territorial Lord

After receiving a Squire Fief, Romon becomes a landholder and begins building a settlement through loans, mercenary contracts, agriculture, recruitment, and potion trade. He assigns Fafier a future security role and treats population growth as the territory’s central long-term challenge. 89

Demon Calamity Commander

During the Demon Calamity, Romon transforms his territory into an organized military power. He commands cavalry, recruits refugees, develops supply networks, rewards soldiers fairly, and uses Lightning for reconnaissance and aerial warfare. 251 260 331

As a seventh-level Druid, he destroys a fortified demon camp through Fireballs, Nature spells, cavalry charges, summoned beasts, and coordinated archery. 333

Foreign Campaign and Shipwreck

After being separated from his homeland, Romon rescues Baron Mengpiya’s party from Imps and escorts them toward Kaan City. He uses the alliance to seek transportation home while gaining influence in an unfamiliar kingdom. 419 424

He later receives authority from Crown Prince Hadeka to reclaim Danwo Fief and develops a doctrine of aerial bombardment: Lightning provides speed and safety while cavalry secure the ground after demon forces break. 436 437

Exile and the Giant Eagle Druid

Exiled for seven years and separated from Eileen and his children, Romon disguises himself as an adventurer rather than remain publicly identifiable as a noble. He decides to turn exile into an opportunity for advancement, demon hunting, and reputation-building. 513 514

His repeated demon-clearing campaigns create the legend of the Giant Eagle Druid, later eclipsed by the title Thousand-Demon Slayer. He forms an alliance with the Valiant Adventurer Squad to handle trade, reports, grain distribution, and recovered loot. 517 519 533

Mentor and Independent Lord

Romon chooses Tekaxiu as a single promising trainee from a group of young admirers, then trains him through real missions, tactical preparation, and controlled exposure to danger. 539 541

He rewards followers with land, homes, military authority, and equipment, turning personal loyalty into an organized territorial structure. 563

Elemental and Divine Transformation

Romon expands the Shennong Horn Space into an increasingly self-sustaining world. He rejects the Wild Druid path to avoid being identified as a heretic, instead choosing ecosystem development and elemental balance. 600

The God Statue’s wind power transforms the Mother Tree into the World Tree, completes the elemental cycle, and changes Romon into a Nature Element Druid with the Punishment Domain. 620

He later becomes a Divine Being, ignites his Divine Fire, and assumes Nature and Retribution authority while his followers increasingly worship him as a True God. 993 1031 1039 1084
