Such rare moments alone together were truly intoxicating.

Having just seen his sweet, well-behaved daughter, Romon found himself in excellent spirits, and the lovely wife sitting opposite him stirred his heart even more. After so many days apart, Bell, who had once still seemed a little inexperienced, had acquired the charm of a young married woman. Her skin had always been smooth and fair, but her delicate features were now more alluring than ever. He could not take his eyes off her. He had never known Bell could be so beautiful.

The memory of their nights of tenderness rose vividly before his eyes, and Romon felt a fierce fire suddenly blaze to life within him.
