It was not merely divine punishment, but a direct, naked attack by a god's power, without any natural transformation.
A bolt of Divine Thunder descended from the heavens, blasting straight toward the world below.
It tore through the elemental planes, broke through the barrier of the Main World, and struck downward.
The instant this Divine Thunder appeared, every star in the sky trembled.
It was daytime. Sunlight illuminated everything, while the stars remained hidden-some flickering, some hanging motionless, some dim and lightless, others blazing brightly.
But now, the stars suddenly flared, revealing a starry sky in broad daylight.
On thrones above the stars, the deities who ruled their divine kingdoms opened their eyes slightly and looked up, whatever they had been doing.
Some smiled, some looked furious, and others remained expressionless.
Even the gods were stirred.
One divine kingdom closely resembled the Main World. Streams flowed through open meadows and rolling fields, pine trees and shrubs lined the riverbanks, and distant mountains were covered with rapids and waterfalls.
Countless petitioners enjoyed their lives in this divine kingdom.
In an open-air palace, the avatars of several deities happened to be gathering. At the sight, all of them were shaken.
A handsome deity in white robes, with a deep, resonant voice, started in shock. "The Lord of Radiance... has he gone mad?"
Clearly, the Lord of Radiance's actions were entirely beyond his expectations.
At the same time, a trace of alarm and uncertainty appeared in his eyes!
Two other deities sat beside him. One, who looked like a young girl, also spoke. "Exactly. This has already violated the Pact of the Gods. The God of Order is not someone to trifle with!"
