By this time, the war between the Human Allied Forces and the Elven army had reached its fiercest point.
"Wihans, where are you?" One morning, a fleet docked beside an island. Stet, the officer in charge of the fleet, stepped down from the flagship and searched back and forth, only to find that his deputy, Wihans, was nowhere to be seen.
"Have any of you seen Lord Wihans?" Stet saw soldiers continuously patrolling along the island's edge, so he walked over and asked.
He had a full beard and a tall, burly build. A Level-Seven Knight, he held considerable prestige within the fleet. Seeing him come over to question them, the soldiers patrolling the area immediately saluted him respectfully.
"Lord Stet, we just saw Lord Wihans take several men into the island." One soldier pointed toward the island's depths as he answered.
"Into the island?" Stet froze upon hearing that.
"Didn't I give orders just now? This island is only for a temporary rest. No one is allowed to enter it. Didn't he hear? That bastard! Right, did he say why he was going in?" Once he came back to himself, Stet was seized by an uncontrollable rage.
Though Wihans was his deputy, he was always butting heads with him over every little matter. If not for the powerful backing behind Wihans, Stet would have long since found an excuse to drive him away, or even dealt with him under military law.
