Background / History

Mo Shiqiu is a white-haired senior alchemist of exceptional standing in Clear River City. Five Treasures Hall invited him as a guest alchemist, though he attended only once per month; even the Anyang Commandery Prince was said to show him respect. In Su Chen’s previous life, the prince reportedly honored him with the title “Mo One City,” judging him worth more than a city of one million people. 8 33

Before becoming the Guild President, Master Mo studied under an unnamed teacher whose lifelong, unfinished research concerned a treatment for Coldheart Python venom. His teacher’s final instruction was to discover the exact ratio of Yang-Origin Stone to Blood-Staunching Herb; Mo treated this request as an “imperial decree” and continued the research into old age. 9
