"What envoy delegation? Are they more important than our wounded? Take me there. Start the surgery immediately."
Receive an envoy delegation?
What a joke. Orochimaru could handle that sort of thing. Jingyi had no desire to deal with envoys from the Daimyo's Court, especially after Hatake Sakumo's incident had erupted. He wanted even less to get involved with those people.
So Jingyi decided that he would spend the entire day in the Medical Department's emergency room.
Forget the Daimyo's Court envoy delegation—even if the daimyo himself came, Jingyi had no time to entertain him.
After making the arrangements, Jingyi immediately sent someone to notify Orochimaru. He then put on a white coat and entered the emergency room, while Pakura, acting as his temporary little secretary, stood speechlessly outside the door.
She could not understand why Jingyi was avoiding the envoys.
This was an envoy delegation from the Daimyo's Court!!!
Your attitude was a problem, Jingyi Hyuga.
Pakura could not figure it out, but it did not matter. As long as Orochimaru understood, that was enough.
Once the person Jingyi had sent conveyed his message to Orochimaru, Orochimaru understood Jingyi's intentions.
He did not want to meet the envoys, nor did he want to become a second Hatake Sakumo. It was better not to see them, lest things become awkward for everyone.
Since Jingyi was unwilling to meet the envoys, Orochimaru could only step forward to receive them and bring them to the command headquarters.
When the envoys asked about Jingyi, Orochimaru explained calmly:
"Because a local war has broken out and the fighting is intense, quite a few wounded have been sent back from the front lines. As the most skilled medic in the camp, Jingyi is currently saving the wounded in the emergency room."
It was a perfect excuse.
