If only the Elder Council opposed it, Tsunade could still try to persuade them. The problem was that the Third Hokage was unwilling to take the risk as well. With both the Elder Council and the Third Hokage against it, it would be difficult even for Tsunade to step in.
News from the village reached the frontline camp that very day.
Jingyi had originally intended to go to the command center, but after giving it some thought, he sent someone to notify Shikaku Nara and invite him over.
"Looks like Tsunade was right. Your cooking is quite good."

After pouring the vegetables into the stewed meat broth and setting the pot on the table, Jingyi invited Shikaku Nara to sit.

Only Jingyi could occasionally make himself a special meal in the camp.
