They had no idea what Jingyi had done to make them feel as if they had encountered some terrifying beast, leaving their bodies too frightened to move. Worse still, Jingyi had Xing Shi Hyuga by the throat, looking as though he intended to strangle him to death.

Ignoring the Branch House members, Jingyi casually set Xing Shi Hyuga down, and the other man dropped to his knees again.
As Xing Shi Hyuga knelt, Jingyi placed his hand directly on his head. A blue sphere of spiritual energy entered Xing Shi Hyuga's body through his palm.
"Who sent you?"
"The clan head..."
Like a puppet pulled by strings, Xing Shi Hyuga answered Jingyi's questions blankly.

Xing Shi Hyuga spoke slowly, and not only slowly, but haltingly as well. Jingyi frowned as he listened.
"Forget it. I'll take a look myself. It might hurt a little, so bear with it."
Blue light enveloped Xing Shi Hyuga,
