Sasori's eyes filled with surprise and anticipation, along with a trace of unease. He feared that his grandmother would deny what she had just said in the next moment.

"Child, reviving people who have truly died is probably something only the legendary Sage of Six Paths could accomplish. Grandma does not have that ability, but before you grow up, I hope you can see them again."

A method to revive the dead?

Chiyo had always been searching for one. Without exception, every attempt had ultimately ended in failure.

Chiyo had originally planned to try in secret, but after this incident, she had no other choice but to keep her grandson by her side. She hoped that war would change the way he thought.

Then she would offer him the lure of seeing his parents again, hoping to pull her eldest grandson back from the darkness consuming his heart.

Chiyo had mentioned that before, so Sasori answered instinctively. It was for profit, though he did not dare say so with certainty.

Chiyo raised a hand and stroked her eldest grandson's head as she spoke earnestly.

"Profit is only
