Ning Fa no longer hesitated. Opening his mouth wide, he swallowed the Innate Thunder Essence, temporarily storing it within his dantian. He needed time to slowly refine it into his two Sea of Lightning Divine Treasuries.
Immediately afterward, a streak of fire descended from the heavens and enveloped Ning Fa.
Ning Fa only felt his vision blur before he vanished from where he stood. By the time he came back to his senses, he had already arrived in another unfamiliar place.
Ning Fa surveyed his surroundings with sharp light in his eyes. This place was even stranger than the previous area filled with heavenly lightning.
All around him was empty darkness, with neither sky nor earth. From time to time, brilliant starlight streaked past in the distance. This place actually resembled a region of void.
Ning Fa cautiously examined his surroundings.
Just then, his expression shifted. With a turn of his right hand, blue light flashed, and a somewhat damaged compass artifact appeared in his grasp. It was the Star Roaming Compass, the treasure that had repeatedly rendered Ning Fa great service.
Starlight flickered across its surface, and if Ning Fa had not restrained it, it seemed ready to fly from his hand.
Ning Fa could not help but let out a soft cry of surprise. Something in this special place seemed to possess an enormous attraction for the Star Roaming Compass.
Combined with the starlight that occasionally streaked across the distance, Ning Fa came to an understanding.
It seemed the trial here and its final reward were very likely related to the power of stars. Perhaps there was something within that would be of immense help to the Star Roaming Compass.
With that thought, Ning Fa's heart stirred, and he immediately flew toward the place where the starlight fell.
