Surges of energy erupted from the ground and shot into the sky, stirring the dark clouds into a vast vortex.

Thousands of people surrounded the source of the energy. Those in the outermost ring sang and danced in strange clothing, performing an unfamiliar ritual dance.

Those in the inner ring were mostly powerful Ghost Tamers and Demon Tamers, with only a few high-ranking Warriors among them.

From the source at the center came the faint howls of countless vengeful spirits.

Waves of black light spread outward. Several formidable Ghost Tamers stood around it.

Their eyes were shut, their hands forming strange gestures toward the energy before them. They seemed to be performing some kind of ritual.

At the heart of the energy, an irregular stone no bigger than a millstone was wrapped in spirits as black as ink.
