Sacred Artifact—Fear Mask.
Source: Seer Pathway Sequence 4 Bizarro Sorcerer. Formed by fusing with a Demon Wolf's facial bones, it was a living mystical item.
Abilities: 1. Face of Fear. When worn and used, the mask had two effects. At a superficial level, it could alter one's appearance and physique, disguising the wearer as another person or animal, a disguise extending from the physical body to the spirit body. At a deeper level, it made others unable to see your face; they would only see the deepest fear within their hearts, trembling uncontrollably in body and mind.
2. Fear Marionette. It could see and control the spirit body threads of other living beings, manipulating them like puppets. It slowed their thoughts, stiffened their bodies, and intimidated them with fear, accelerating their conversion into marionettes and turning them into your puppets. The limit was fifty. Marionettes could use the Beyonder abilities of their original bodies and could also inflict fear effects.
3. Dark Flame Leap. It could teleport to any other flame or area of darkness within a thousand meters.
4. Demon Wolf's Howl. It could create an illusionary realm, causing people to lose themselves and ultimately fall into slumber.
5. Evernight's Blessing.
Qin Sheng stroked the wolf-bone mask in his hand, feeling quite satisfied.
"The Goddess really is a Demon Wolf collector."
This was the mystical item the Evernight Goddess had bestowed upon Qin Sheng, something that could help him deal with certain problems he would encounter after heading out to sea.
The Church's Sacred Artifacts ultimately owed their status to the Evernight Goddess's blessings and empowerment. This Fear Mask naturally qualified as a Sacred Artifact as well.
