"Are you going to Long Valley?"
"We heard that the Saint had emerged, so my wife and I were preparing to go to Long Valley to pay our respects." Hero Medicine looked respectful.
"Today, blessed by Firmament, we were able to meet Your Holiness here. Thank you, Saint, for saving us husband and wife from the demon's clutches."
Everything the two of them said and did came from the heart, utterly sincere.
The tale of the Saint had circulated in this world for a very, very long time—even longer than the Black Mountain Demon God. The reverence and awe people held for the Saint were beyond anything outsiders could imagine.
In a world where cultivation existed and one could ascend to immortality, a being who remained invincible under heaven and held the chance to ascend naturally occupied an unimaginably lofty position. Such a person was no different from an immortal or a god.
