Chisongzi had obtained the immortal bone recording the Immortalization Opportunity on Mount Tiantai. Following its map, he had pursued the trail into the Shu Region.
Chisongzi had spent half his life searching. Though he had never found an Immortal, he had left his legacy in the Shu Region: the Sword Cultivator Lineage, renowned in later ages.
He had been an extraordinary figure, active in the age of the Yan and Yellow Emperors. His name had shaken the ancient cultivation world, and his every move drew attention.
"The successive masters of Myriad Demons Valley have all investigated Chisongzi. That's how I came by the sword-immortal inheritance I cultivate. Then, five hundred years ago, one valley master discovered something inside an ancient hanging coffin," the eldest valley master said, recounting part of the valley's history.
"After that, Myriad Demons Valley focused on the hanging coffins. We opened them all the way from the Shu Region to Mount Wuyi and obtained several pieces of ancient jade inscribed with writings. Those writings recorded certain matters pointing toward the legendary Earth Immortal, quite possibly the Immortal Chisongzi sought."
