Madara Uchiha had called him a brat, so naturally, he returned the favor by calling Madara an old immortal.

Kanami shook his head. "No, no, no. Even without your Rinnegan, I, Kanami, am still invincible."

If he could control Madara Uchiha as well, then he would be invincible!
