Yin-Yang Release Exchanged for Rinnegan

As Kanami's voice trailed off, Madara Uchiha grew eager.

"Have you figured out what you need?"

Kanami pondered and said, "I have. Yin–Yang Release."

"If you hand Yin–Yang Release over to me, I will give you back one of your Rinnegan. How does that sound?"

"Yin–Yang Release!"

Madara Uchiha was shocked.

"You even know about the existence of Yin–Yang Release?!"

"Is there anything strange about that?"

Once Kanami finished speaking, Madara Uchiha gave an awkward, sheepish nod.

If anyone else had known about Yin–Yang Release or anything of the sort, he truly would have reacted more strongly.

Yet the person in front of him was Kanami, and if it was Kanami, then nothing was out of the ordinary.

After all, the things he knew were numerous, surpassing even his own.

"Indeed, if it's you, there is nothing strange about it."

"I can teach Yin–Yang Release to you, but you need to possess Six Paths Power in order to use it; therefore, after I teach it to you, you will only grasp the principles."

Madara Uchiha cautioned him.

"Why don't you pick something else? Let me see if there is anything I can provide. You might never get to use something like Yin–Yang Release in your entire life."

He was certainly not lying about that.

Under normal circumstances, Kanami could not become the Ten-Tails Jinchuriki, meaning he would not possess Six Paths Power, rendering Yin–Yang Release completely useless.

Of course, this premise assumed that Kanami returned all of the Rinnegan to him.

A Rinnegan could indeed be used alongside Six Paths Power to manufacture Black Rods.

This was also one of the applications of the Rinnegan's Six Paths Power.

"No need. Just teach it to me. Besides, I am only returning one to you; I will think carefully about the next
