The Pollution shriek, enough to drive even a Jonin insane, struck the barrier like it had hit a red-hot branding iron. With a sizzle, it was instantly vaporized.
Several Sealing Corps members who had begun clawing at their cheeks, terrifying hallucinations filling their eyes, shuddered all over. The mad whispers in their minds were instantly dispelled, and clarity returned. They gasped for breath, drenched in cold sweat, staring at Naruto's back with the reverence of survivors who had narrowly escaped death.

Conventional sealing techniques, even with Uzumaki techniques added to them, could not eradicate this pollutant from the Warp. They could only suppress it temporarily. The price of suppression was an unceasing drain of chakra and mental strength. It treated the symptoms, not the cause.
He had to find a power capable of erasing it at the conceptual level.

A massive, illusory phantom radiating utter stillness slowly emerged
